The king sized bed and Kingfisher narrowboat has white pillow sheets and duvet but is coverd by a bright yellow and fluffy blanket. leaning on the pillos are 2 red, heart shaped balloons, one has the name Martin and the ov=ther the name Rachel, on the yellow throw are red petals, randonly placed bt in he centre red petals are carefull placed to form a larger red heart. This is a romantic, celebration package prepared for the arrival of guests staying on the boat.

adjacent to it is its private, fenced garden space with a stone path meandering past to the private covered hot tub with wisteria hanging down. There are warm light festoon lights crossing above the path.

A TiiPii Bed is hanging in the garden area of Kingfisher narrowboat. There is a blue and white sheet on the inside covering the base and there are blue and orange cushions. The tent on the TiiPii bed is open. A cosy feature handing day bed for a romantic couple to snuggle in.

A beautiful white swan is swimming though the water on the Chesterfield Canal with green reeds to the waters bank and she is surrounding in front of her in a V shape 7 little, grey, fluffy cygnets.

The log burner on Kingfisher narrowboat is surround by warm light that are built into the stone floor and the wall wall backing the log burner are brick lined and a beautiful bronzed copper colour. A long narrow mirror is hung against the brick and above this is a blue and orange, kingfisher ornament. To the side of the log burner is a smart TV hung against the wall.

"We found our little bit of heaven ! Everything and anything you could want or need is there and provided. Having the best of both worlds by staying on the Kingfisher had a hot tub that we used daily seating on the canal to sit and read or just contemplate . It is so quite and peaceful you really recharge your batteries. There is also a bbq hut and sauna available to use. We booked a couples massage in the yurt which was superb. The grounds at night are magical - you will have to visit yourselves to find out why . The staff so friendly and helpful. Josephine despite her busy life took time to chat and advise and security person so cute. Plenty of places to eat not far from Hawthorn and all excellent. We had such a stupendous time at The Hideaway. Cannot recommend highly enough and wait till you see your breakfast basket. Don’t want to give too much away as will be for you like it was for us many wonderful surprises. We are planning to go back in spring and we are a couple who usually don’t return to a place we have previously been but that is how good our few days were. Thank You to all at Hawthorn Hideaway for our little piece of heaven see you in 2023 !"
